In addition to her professional qualifications, she is a passionate musician and accomplished pianist. With prior experience as a music teacher in New Zealand and Malaysia, Charisa eagerly shares her deep love for all things musical.

With years of international experience, Charisa has had the privilege of working with families and diverse individuals, including children and young people with PMLD, SEN, ASD, sensory impairments, physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, as well as adults in psychiatry. She is dedicated to fostering mental, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and physical well-being, healthy family and peer relationships, and developing one’s unique voice in today’s society through creative music.

Charisa demonstrates exceptional skills in finding creative ways to connect with and support her clients, tailoring her therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs. She places great importance on early intervention and play in young children, recognising it as a catalyst for exploration of the world, building confidence in self-expression, fostering interaction with others, combating isolation, and cultivating healthy relationships.

Deeply committed to community service and equal opportunities, Charisa actively works to empower individuals with disabilities to confidently express themselves in today’s society. She uses music as a powerful and therapeutic tool of expression and communication, fostering a sense of empowerment and inclusivity among those she serves.
