Singing Festival

Each year more than 2000 children take part in our Primary Singing Festival, which aims to inspire and support schools in their development of vocal work and is the musical highlight of the year for many schools. The RMT Vocal Team visits schools to work with them on the festival material and this builds towards the culmination of the festival at The Rose Theatre where we hold four colourful and exciting gala concerts which bring children, teachers and parents together to celebrate what we’ve worked on in the regional workshops.

Our annual singing event is back at the Rose Theatre in Kingston on the 2nd-3rd April. The theme is ‘Wonderful World’.

  • Please provide an email address to receive the invoice for the registration fee (£75).
  • Please note the potential maximum choir size is 60 and numbers submitted now are provisional. Once all schools have applied, we will review overall numbers and may need to request adjustments.
  • Please list any schools you would prefer to be in a partnership with.

  • Regional Workshops

  • If you are new to the event, we will send you additional information.
  • Please include any information about your choir's particular needs e.g. Afternoon concert, student or staff medical conditions/accessibility needs.
