Harriet is a versatile jazz vocalist, singer-songwriter, and recording artist with a passion for inspiring musical growth in others. Originally classically trained in piano and violin, she later expanded into rock, pop, and jazz, studying with leading vocalists in Johannesburg and at Goldsmiths, University of London.

She has performed widely across South Africa and the UK, both as a solo artist and as a lead and backing vocalist with various bands. Her original music was featured on a singer-songwriter compilation by the South African Broadcasting Corporation—an experience that affirmed her love for creative collaboration.

Alongside her performance career, Harriet is an experienced and dedicated music educator. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Early Years Music Education from Birmingham City University and runs her own successful teaching practice in Wandsworth, London.

Harriet has supported young people through music in a variety of settings—from working with charities like Access to Music (now Access Creative College) to supporting children with additional needs in a local SEN unit. She is currently studying for a master’s in Music Therapy at the University of Roehampton, deepening her commitment to music as a powerful tool for connection and wellbeing.
