Peter Coleman is a classically trained violinist, pianist and professional classical singer. He is a graduate of Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, with an MA in Music Therapy. Whilst studying, he worked on clinical placement with Whitefield SEN school, Walthamstow, working with children with profound and multiple learning disabilities; and at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust working in adult mental health wards. After graduating he worked for Methodist Homes for the Aged (MHA), working across both London and Norfolk based care homes with with residents with dementia. He then subsequently worked for Rowan Humberstone, Cambridge, a charity for adults with learning disabilities, running group music activity workshops as well as 1:1 music therapy sessions, and instrumental lessons with referred clients.

Alongside his music therapy career, Peter also works as a freelance opera and choral singer and soloist in the Surrey, Cambridgeshire and London areas. As well as this he also works as a lay clerk (professional singer) at Guildford Cathedral, and previously at Peterborough Cathedral. He has also worked as a classroom singing and music teacher with Sing Education, and works across schools in the Greater London area.
