Munraj is a London-based Music Therapist with a background in classical and contemporary music. He holds a BMus from King’s College London, an MA in Composition for Film from Kingston University, and recently completed an MA in Music Therapy at the University of Roehampton. His therapeutic approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and rooted in collaborative care.
He has worked across NHS and educational settings, including the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, where he used Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) to support adults with acquired brain injuries, and the Cheyne Child Development Service within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, contributing to multidisciplinary assessments for children with complex developmental needs. His experience also includes SEN schools, community services, and early intervention work.
Alongside clinical practice, Munraj works as a freelance music therapist, educator, and breathing coach. He delivers community-based breathing and music programmes with Voices of Hope, supports neurodivergent students in mainstream education, and teaches music privately to students of all ages. He is passionate about using music to foster communication, emotional expression, and wellbeing.
