Recorder Day

We’ll be celebrating everything we love about our instrument, offering you the chance to experience ensemble playing whilst learning new ways to create music using your recorder.  The international award-winning recorder quartet Palisander will be our special guests, and they’ll bring their collection of recorders of all shapes and sizes to perform for and with you.  During the day, you will have the opportunity to work on specially created ensemble pieces both in smaller ability based groups, and as part of a recorder orchestra!  The day is open to Y2-Y6 students, from those who have just mastered the notes BAG all the way up to those who are Grade 5+.  The day will culminate in a performance for families with Palisander.
