Information for Parents/Performers

Rehearsal arrival times
Please ensure your child arrives no later than the time given below so they have time to get ready to play in their rehearsal.  Players must bring their music as well as their instrument.

Ensemble members who leave the venue after their rehearsal ends must be back onsite by 6.45pm latest.

Dropping off children
Please do not drive/park onsite.  Please use surrounding roads or the parking bays (free at weekends) located directly outside the University.  Please enter on foot via the Main Gate and head to the Chapel where we will be waiting to register your child.  The Chapel is in the centre of the site.

Breaks
Please ensure your child brings a book to read/something quiet to do during their break(s).

Food and Drink
We have an allocated space to use during breaks.  Please ensure your child has a packed tea and a refillable water bottle with them.  All food should be nut free.

Dress Code
We would like the performers to wear all black, with optional Christmas additions.  This is open to interpretation, but could be tinsel, sparkly jewellery, Christmas hats, baubles, whatever you fancy.  Instruments can also be accessorised, as long as they’re still playable!  The black tops and trousers do not have to be particularly formal.  Black school trousers are fine too.

We do not have a changing room so players should come wearing all black, with their Christmas accessories in their bags, so that these can be added on before the concert begins.

Medication
Please contact bethanycalder@richmondmusictrust.org.uk if your child will be bringing any form of medication (such as an epi pen or an inhaler) so that we can ensure we are fully prepped.
