Live at The Exchange: RMT’s Secondary Singing Event
This event gives students in Years 7–13 the chance to shine as vocal performers, accompanied by a professional band. Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to live singing and music, celebrating the talent of Richmond’s young voices.

Get involved!

If you would like to audition as a soloist or in a group please complete the Live at The Exchange Audition Form (Soloists/Groups).

If you want to take part but don’t want to audition as a soloist or in a group, you can apply to be involved as a Backing Vocalist.  There is no audition for this, but we still need you to complete the Live at The Exchange Backing Vocalist Application Form, which includes uploading an audio file of you singing.  We don’t use this to judge you!  We use this to work out which vocal range your voice is within so we can allocate you the right BV lines.

This form is for Backing Vocalists only. Soloists and Groups should complete the Live at The Exchange Audition Form (Soloists/Groups).

  • Participant Details

  • nb This event is open to Year 7-13 students only
  • To ensure everyone is up to date with event plans, we will send emails to both you and to your parent/guardian

  • Audio File Details

    So that we can allocate you the right BV lines, we need you to upload an audio file of you singing to a backing track. This can be any song of your choice. We don’t need a whole song, just a verse and chorus will be fine.
  • Max. file size: 1,000 MB.
    We don’t use this to judge you, we just use this to work out which vocal range your voice is within so we can allocate you the right BV lines.

  • Parent/Guardian details (First emergency contact)

  • This must be the address of a parent/guardian who is 18yrs or over

  • Second emergency contact

  • Consent
