BandIt

BandIt gives participants the chance to experience what it’s like to be in a band. Planned and delivered by a dedicated team who between them have a staggering amount of experience in teaching, recording and performance, we aim to squeeze the best out of every single participant.

“It’s amazing to watch the students’ confidence grow; I can never quite believe the magic the tutors create with them in such a short space of time”

The aim of BandIt is to achieve something incredible. Participants arrive as individuals and within an hour or so we get them working with the tutors in groups that are so supportive and overwhelmingly positive that any doubts or hang-ups about ability or fitting in are forgotten. It’s simple; we are all there with the same aim – to play music together.

“BandIt is one of the best things my daughter has ever done in terms of her enthusiasm, growth in confidence and sheer pleasure”

“I was overwhelmed when I watched all the bands perform live… they were all awesome”

Participants are put into bands based on age, ability and experience. During the course, the bands:

  • learn two tracks (we choose across the decades). Tracks are arranged for various levels and abilities.
  • write an original song as a band.
  • record their track in our pop-up studio with a professional sound engineer.
  • perform in the BandIt Gig to a live audience complete with sound engineering and lighting.

“To say my son enjoyed BandIt is an understatement”
