Location: Waldegrave School, Fifth Cross Road, Twickenham

Day: Saturday - 8.30am to 12.30pm

Sessions: 10 for each activity per term.

Richmond Youth Training Orchestra
9.30 - 11.00am Grades 2+ - 5
High quality training for all orchestral instrumentalists. An opportunity for young players to meet others of a similar standard while being challenged to progress with more advanced players.

Saturday Centre Wind Group
9.30-10.15am Grades 2-5
This group is open to players of all woodwind instruments, including saxophone.

Brass Ensemble
9.30 - 10.20am Grades 2+
An excellent opportunity for young players to develop basic skills in ensemble playing.

Junior String Ensemble
9.30-10.00am grades 1-3
A small, friendly group, especially suitable for those with no or little ensemble experience. Prepares players for joining more advanced groups. Pieces are specially written or arranged to suit the players.

Trumpet Ensemble
11.00 - 11.40am Grades 5+
A specialist group which aims to develop group performance skills.

Chamber Music Groups
8.45 - 9.15am Grades 1-5
9.00 - 9.30am
11.00 - 11.30am

Twickenham Gen. Musicianship & Theory 9.00 - 12.30pm Grades 1-8 Musicianship / Aural / Sightsinging / Exam preparation

Richmond Youth Jazz Band
Waldegrave School
Saturday 10-11am
Includes many opportunities for public performance.

Rock Pop & Jazz Workshops 9-10am and 11-12am Age 11+ Group work, improvisation - all instruments & voice

Specialist instrumental tuition is also available on viola, cello, double bass, trumpet, tuba, trombone, french horn, percussion, guitar, flute and general woodwind.
