Our team consists of skilled musicians who are professionally trained and qualified Music Therapists (Postgraduate Diploma/MA). All Music Therapists working for Richmond Music Trust are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and hold enhanced disclosure certificates. Our therapists are state registered under the Health Professions Council and work to the code of conduct set out by the British Association for Music Therapy. All of our therapists engage in regular clinical supervision and update their skills through continuing professional development and training.

Andreas manages all aspects of RMT’s Music Therapy service, including the supervision of therapists. He also works with children and adults with a wide range of needs at our Briar Road studio. His current caseload includes children with Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome, children with developmental conditions and adults with learning disabilities.
Andreas also works as a Music Therapist for Surrey Borders NHS Trust, working with adults with mental health problems and older adults with Dementia.
Olivia Moreno

Olivia facilitates group and individual therapy sessions at our Twickenham Studio, as well as outreach work to residential homes and schools. She currently works with children and adults ranging from 7 - 80years with a diverse range of needs. Her caseload includes children and adults with learning disabilities, children with emotional/behavioural difficulties, adopted/fostered children and their families and adults with dementia.
Olivia also works as a Music Therapist for the NHS in the area of Forensic Mental Health, working with adult offenders who suffer from mental illness.

Alistair facilitates group and individual therapy sessions at our Twickenham Studio as well as providing music therapy outreach services to special schools. His current caseload includes children with emotional/behavioural difficulties, children with developmental conditions/Autism and adults with Learning Disabilities.
Alistair also works for Sutton Social Services, providing music therapy to adults with Learning Disabilities.
Ruth Marshall

BMus/PGCE/Postgraduate Diploma/MA Music Therapy/Certificate in Community Music Tutoring
Ruth works as part of the RMT Music Therapy Outreach Service, providing music therapy to Strathmore School and to residential homes for adults with Learning Disabilities.
Ruth also works as a music teacher at a school for pupils with complex emotional, behavioural and learning disabilities.

Melanie currently facilitates group and individual music therapy sessions at our Twickenham Studio as well as working as part of the RMT Music Trust carrying out outreach work in residential homes, elderly daycentres and schools. Her current caseload includes adults and children with a diverse range of needs including Autism, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Conditions and Neurorehabilitation. Melanie also runs music therapy groups for older adults with dementia.

Ian works as part of the RMT Music Therapy Outreach Service, providing Music Therapy to Red Gates School in Croydon. His current caseload includes children with learning disabilities, children with emotional/ challenging behaviours, children with developmental conditions and children with Autistic Spectrum conditions.
Ian also works with Cambridgeshire Mencap, providing group and individual Music Therapy for adults with learning disabilities.
