Drum and Percussion Ensembles
Three fun groups which provide young drummers and percussionists with the opportunity to perform on a wide range of instruments. A willingness to participate and the desire to learn and improve is more important than ability.

As a guide the groups are graded. We are able to accommodate most applications; please call 020 8538 3866 to enquire about entry procedure. Ensembles are suitable for pupils who receive either drum kit tuition or percussion lessons.

We will also consider entry from pupils who learn other instruments (eg pianists) who would like to be part of the percussion group experience; entry for such candidates is subject to informal drum and musicianship tests.

These groups also act as a percussion pool for the percussion sections of the RYSO, RYCB and RJCB. Pupils may also choose to join these groups as an additional activity.
