Ensemble Fees from April 2013
All of our ensembles, including theory lessons, are covered by the RMT Activity Passport. This means that by buying a passport you have access to all ensembles which are suitable for your instrument and level. Take a look at our Ensembles Grid to find out which ensembles are open to you.

|Out of Borough
Level 1 Cost is the passport fee for any beginner ensemble where the ability level is described as grade 0-2. This excludes theory classes, which are all charged at the Level 2 Cost.
Level 2 Cost is the passport fee for any intermediate-advanced ensemble where the ability level is described as grade 3-8.
In Borough Applies to any pupil who attends a school maintained by the Richmond upon Thames LEA or any pupil of primary or secondary school age who resides within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Out of Borough Applies to all non-residents of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames who do not attend schools maintained by the Richmond upon Thames LEA or any pupil over secondary school age (i.e. attending college etc.) who may or may not be resident in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Free trial sessions for all ensembles
Committing to an ensemble can be a big decision so we offer a free trial session for those thinking of joining us. If you enjoy your free session and decide you would like to become a permanent member of the ensemble simply contact us afterwards to apply for an application passport.
Assistance with Fees
We give sympathetic consideration to families where financial hardship may prevent a child from receiving instrumental tuition with us.
Those in receipt of:
- Income Support
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Rebate
- Free school meals
may be entitled to receive up to 70% reduction of fees.
Please contact us if you feel you may be eligible to receive assistance with fees. We will ask to see written evidence of the benefits you receive. A photocopy is acceptable.
In order to confirm eligibility we also reserve the right to consult your child’s head teacher regarding any request for assistance with fees.
